The Wild Loaf is a micro-bakery specialising in naturally leavened organic sourdough breads. We focus on small batch, high quality products made fresh daily by our small team. After some time developing skills and knowledge, Jess Doyle founded The Wild Loaf in 2015 with the support of a couple of local businesses that began taking the loaves for their menus. Since then the business has developed and organically grown into what it is today. With friends regularly asking for bread, Jess and partner Emily started opening up a Saturday shop to sell loaves and freshly made doughnuts to Liverpool, the reception was always amazing which led us to consider our next move. We moved from the (at the time derelict) Cains Brewery Courtyard, and opened our microbakery in January 2017. We began this new adventure without expectation, but have made many friends and loyal customers along the way and have been so humbled by the response from Liverpool. Our team is growing and we are so excited to keep learning, baking and seeing where our journey takes us. We are based in Liverpool City Centre tucked away just off Hardman Street in the lovely garden courtyards of Hardman Yard, once you find us we hope you will be coming back time and time again!
